Africa-Press – Nigeria. Former aide to late ex-President Muhammadu Buhari, Bashir Ahmad on Tuesday, disclosed the geo-political zone that is expected to produce the next National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC.
Ahmad disclosed that the Northcentral is expected to produce the next APC National Chairman.
Posting on X, Ahmad wrote: “From all indications, the next National Chairman of our party, the All Progressives Congress (APC), is expected to emerge from the North-Central.”
In June, the immediate past National Chairman of APC, Abdullahi Ganduje resigned from his position.
Ganduje had blamed his resignation on health issues.
In view of his resignation, President Bola Tinubu had directed Ali Bukar Dalori to assume the office of the acting National Chairman.
Dalori, who hails from Borno State was the APC Vice Chairman (North).
