Nigeria Tennis Federation President has expressed confidence that 2019 will see the continue improvement made in the sport last year.
In his scorecard of the growth recorded in the sport, Akindoju told Brila.net that more national tournaments had been introduced in the calendar between 2017 and 2018 to help keep Nigerian players based in Nigeria more active.
His projection for the new year is for development at the grassroots through the establishment of Tennis academies in schools.
