Nigeria will be looking to begin their qualification campaign for the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations on a high note when they host neighbours Benin at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium on Wednesday.
Both teams featured at this year’s Afcon with the Super Eagles claiming the bronze medal in Egypt but the Squirrels were knocked out by Senegal in the quarter-finals.
Nigeria head into the encounter after back-to-back draws against Ukraine and Brazil while Michel Dussuyer’s side defeated Ivory Coast 2-1 and drew 2-2 against Zambia in October.
