The youths of Ai-Ede community, under the aegis of Ai-Ede Eneke Progressive Youth Council (Oyame Worldwide), in Itabono Owukpa, Ogbadibo Local Government Area of Benue State, have rolled out heartfelt congratulations to their son, Prof Henry Ojobo, following his appointment as the Rector of Benue State Polytechnic, Ugbokolo.
In a statement signed by the youth group, the community described Ojobo’s elevation as a clear testament to his diligence, excellence, and commitment to service, noting that his appointment has brought pride and joy not only to Ai-Ede but to the entire Ogbadibo nation.
They recalled that Prof Ojobo is the son of the late Hon. Augustine Ojobo (Oyame 1), the first Executive Chairman of Ogbadibo LGA, stressing that the development has once again proven that “a lion does not breed a goat.”
“Just as his father laid the foundation for a modern Ogbadibo through visionary leadership, we are confident that Prof Henry Ojobo will replicate, and even surpass, such strides in his new office by bringing innovation, integrity, and transformation to Benue State Polytechnic,” the statement read.
The community also expressed gratitude to the Governor of Benue State, Rev. Fr. Dr. Hyacinth Alia, for finding Prof. Ojobo worthy of the appointment, describing the gesture as a demonstration of the Governor’s commitment to rewarding merit, capacity, and excellence.
