The Pride of Rivers will be up against the Benin Arsenal at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium, Benin City on Thursday.
Finidi said he expects his team to secure a positive result in the game.
“It going to be a difficult game,” Finidi told Rivers United’s media.
“We have always had a good result in the same fixture we are expecting to have a good result in the game, we know what is at stake in the game.”
Rivers United occupy eighth position in the NPFL table with 16 points.
