Africa-Press – Nigeria. A group of bandits attacked the Adamawa community in Sabon Birni Local Government Area of Sokoto State, burning several houses and a shop during the raid.
The incident was contained in a post shared on X by security analyst Bakatsine on Monday.
“Armed bandits attacked Adamawa community in Kalgo Ward, Sabon Birni LGA of Sokoto State yesterday night.
“Despite no one being abducted or killed, the bandits burned three houses including those belonging to Malam Ila, a cleric and the village head as well as a shop that had been looted before setting ablaze,” Bakatsine wrote.
“How many more communities must endure such attacks before solutions arrive?” Bakatsine asked.
Authorities are yet to issue an official statement regarding the incident.
