Africa-Press – Nigeria. Bandits on Sunday night attacked Kururawa community in Lakwaya district of Gwarzo LGA,Kano State, abducting an elderly resident and injuring his son.
Resident say this is the first bandit attack the area has ever witnessed.
The incident was contained in a post shared on X on Monday by security analyst, Bakatsine.
According to the post, the bandits attacked the residence of Alhaji Yakubu Na Tsohuwa in the middle of the night and took him away.
His eldest son, Badamasi, was injured while trying to stop the armed men from dragging his father out of the house.
“Yesterday night, armed bandits invaded a private residence in Kururawa community of Lakwaya district, Gwarzo LGA, Kano State. During the attack, they abducted an elderly resident, Alhaji Yakubu Na Tsohuwa and injured his eldest son, Badamasi, when he tried to stop them,” Bakatsine wrote.
