He said some of the key laws passed during the period include the Kano State Geographical Information System Law, Kano State Centre for Disease Control Law, Kano State Signage and Advertisement Agency Law, Kano State Electricity Law, and the Kano State Security Law, among others.

Dala also explained that the Assembly approved Kano State’s N1.47 trillion budget for 2026.

According to him, many of the motions adopted by the House focused on the construction, renovation and upgrading of roads, schools, health facilities and other critical infrastructure to improve the living standards of people across the state’s 44 local government areas.

He noted that the Assembly carried out wide-ranging oversight functions, in line with the Constitution, to ensure proper implementation of projects approved in the 2025 budget year.

The Majority Leader added that public hearings and town hall meetings were held across constituencies to gather citizens’ input before the 2025 budget was passed.
