Africa-Press – Nigeria. Former Secretary to Rivers State Government, Alabo Tammy Wenike Danagogo has assured the state governor, Siminalayi Fubara of support from political heavyweights in the state.
Danagogo, who spoke on Thursday during the 2026 New Year banquet at the government house in Port Harcourt, commended the governor for defecting to the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC.
According to him, aligning with the Federal Government would bring progress to the state and the nation.
He described Governor Fubara as a peacemaker and unifier, who also pursue peace no matter the oppositions.
He said, “We may not tell you individually,but we are all behind you. In this effort to align with the center, creating synergy with the ruling party and the Federal Government, we are with you.
“It will certainly bring progress to Nigeria and Rivers State. You are a peacemaker and unifier. Believe that no matter the power you have, God is on the throne and He is in charge.
“We are all behind Governor Sim Fubara in his efforts to align Rivers State with the centre”.
