Africa-Press – Nigeria. Kebbi State Governor, Dr Nasir Idris, on Friday, met with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu at the Presidential Villa, Abuja, where they discussed issues of national and state importance.
The meeting focused on security, economic development, and the welfare of residents of Kebbi State, as well as ways to strengthen collaboration between the Federal Government and the state.
In a statement issued by the governor’s Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Yahaya Sarki, the engagement was described as a strategic discussion aimed at deepening cooperation to address development challenges.
Governor Idris said the Kebbi State Government remains committed to contributing to national development through investments in infrastructure, agriculture, and youth empowerment.
He thanked President Tinubu for his leadership and noted that the discussions yielded plans to enhance federal–state partnership in key sectors.
The governor added that Kebbi would continue to support national efforts targeted at promoting stability, growth, and inclusive development across the country.
