Africa-Press – Nigeria. Stanley Boateng has been appointed assistant coach of Nigeria’s senior women’s national basketball team, D’Tigress.
Boateng will join D’Tigress coaching crew led by Rena Wakama.
The African champions are already in the United States of America for a training tour ahead of the 2026 FIBA Women’s World Cup.
D’Tigress will take on WNBA teams, Los Angeles Sparks, Minnesota Lynx, and Indiana Fever in friendlies during the training tour.
The draw for the FIBA Women’s World Cup will hold in Berlin, Germany on Tuesday.
