– Another reason is the Edo state governor’s firm stance not to kowtow to the wishes of some politicians who allegedly do not have the interest of the people at heart
It is no longer news that Governor Godwin Obaseki of Edo state has been disqualified from the forthcoming All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship primary.
What many, however, found surprising was that the Edo state governor swiftly reacted to the disqualification and decided he was not going to appeal the decision of the screening committee, despite describing it as unjust.
