Leaders of Hausa/Fulani community in the 18 local government areas of Ondo have pledged to mobilise votes for the re-election bid of Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu.
The Hausa/Fulani leaders, who spoke at a meeting at the Akure South All Progressives Congress (APC) Secretariat, said the programmes of Akeredolu have helped to boost their business interests in the state.
The cited the Ore flyover, provision of infrastructural facilities, good roads network, Ore industrial hub and tight security network as achievements that endeared them to support Akeredolu.
Special Assistant (SA) to Governor Akeredolu, Bala Umaru, who spoke to journalists after the meeting, said Hausa/Fulani indigenes living in the state were satisfied with Akeredolu’s proactive administration.
Umaru assured they would mobilise members across the state to vote for continuation of Akeredolu’s administration.
