Africa-Press – Nigeria. <\/strong><\/span>Delta State Chief Judge, Hon. Justice Theresa.O. Diai has set a 21-year-old robbery suspect, Michael Lucky, free from the custody of the Nigerian Correctional Service, NCS, in Warri.<\/p>\n

The suspect had been in prison for five years.<\/p>\n

Justice Diai set him free during his 4th Quarter visits to the correctional facility in the Okere Community.<\/p>\n

She warned the suspect to desist from crime and criminalities.<\/p>\n

She said, \u201cIt\u2019s a sign that whatever you\u2019ve been doing, you should stop because when next they catch you, I will not even think of doing anything about your case.\u201d<\/p>\n

In a chat with newsmen at the NSC, Lucky could not hide his joy.<\/p>\n

He said he was accused of armed robbery in the Iyara area in Warri.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey accuse me of armed robbery. They said I robbed somebody, which I did not know about.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey said I carry gun go rob person and meanwhile, I no rob anybody,\u201d he said in pidgin English.<\/p>\n

Lucky, an Indigene of Owhelogbe Community in Isoko, expressed the belief that youths will learn from his case.<\/p>\n

\u201cI no get anything wey I wan talk. Joy full my body,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n

When reminded of the Chief Judge\u2019s warning to him, he said, \u201cI no do am before na. I get work wey I dey work.<\/p>\n

\u201cI be welder. I dey go back to my workshop.\u201d<\/p>\n
