Africa-Press – Nigeria. <\/strong><\/span>The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, governorship candidate in Kogi State, Dino Melaye, has slammed the Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, Mahmood Yakubu.<\/p>\n

He described Yakubu and INEC as frauds over the conduct of the just-concluded governorship election.<\/p>\n

Featuring on Arise TV, Melaye claimed that INEC helped the All Progressives Congress, APC, rig the just-concluded governorship election.<\/p>\n

The PDP chieftain vowed to write and inform the international communities of Yakubu and INEC\u2019s alleged aiding of rigging in Kogi State.<\/p>\n

He vowed to organize a protest against Yakubu over the conduct of INEC in the last election.<\/p>\n

He lamented that results were manipulated, and his votes were deducted and added to APC, among others.<\/p>\n

According to Melaye: \u201cWith comparative analyses from the past, I have seen different types of rigging but the brazen daylight robbery, I have never seen it before.<\/p>\n

\u201cINEC demonstrated that they are co-travellers with APC in this business, the speed with which they accepted the concocted results written before accreditation, with all the mutations, and reducing votes of PDP openly and increasing that of APC, people voting above accreditation tells it all.<\/p>\n

\u201cResults shown are more than PVC collected, I have never seen this type before.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is appalling and we know that the Almighty God that we serve will punish Mahmood Yakubu, he will not go free.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe will organize protest, we will write letters to all embassies, the international communities telling them that he is a fraud, INEC is a fraud and we will not allow it.\u201d<\/p>\n
