Africa-Press – Nigeria. <\/strong><\/span>El-Kanemi Warriors head coach Aliyu Zubairu is confident the club will earn promotion back to the Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, at the end of the season.<\/p>\n

The Maiduguri-based club was relegated to the Nigeria National League, NNL, last season.<\/p>\n

Zubairu\u2019s side will open their campaign in the second tier with a home game against Yobe Desert Stars this weekend.<\/p>\n

The coach expresed the belief that with determination and hard work the team can return to the top tier.<\/p>\n

\u201cI believe it\u2019s possible and achievable again with El-Kanemi Warriors by the grace of God, hard work and determination, we shall,\u201d he told the club\u2019s media.<\/p>\n

\u201cDon\u2019t forget, football is a unifying game either premier league or amateur, what you need to know as a coach is to be well prepared, be self-disciplined, have game plans, be focused, set a target for yourself and build your team with self confidence.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe other aspect of it is to get good and supporting management, well experienced and exposed to the football politics and be ready for professional advice without sentiment or selfishness, then you are good to go in achieving your dreams.\u201d<\/p>\n
