Africa-Press – Nigeria. <\/strong><\/span>The Kogi State Governor-Elect, Usman Ahmed Ododo and his Deputy, Joel Oyibo Salifu have been issued their certificates of return by the Independent National Electoral Commission.<\/p>\n

The All Progressives Congress had scored majority votes in last weekend\u2019s Governorship election, which chose Ododo as the next governor of the state.<\/p>\n

The presentation of certificates which took place at INEC headquarters in Lokoja, was witnessed by a mammoth crowd of supporters, family members and associates.<\/p>\n

Speaking shortly after receiving his certificate, the Kogi State Governor-elect Usman Ahmed Ododo assured that he would strive for a just and egalitarian Kogi State, pointing out that he would work for a more united Kogi State.<\/p>\n

The Governor-Elect expressed appreciation to the people of the state for the overwhelming support he enjoyed at the polls, describing it as a consolidation of the strength and unity of the state.<\/p>\n
