Africa-Press – Nigeria. <\/strong><\/span>Four teams are currently joint leaders of the Nigeria Women\u2019s Football League, NWFL, after the completion of the matchday two fixtures.<\/p>\n

The teams are Nasarawa Amazons, Rivers Angels, Bayelsa Queens and Abia Angels.<\/p>\n

The four teams have picked six points from two matches played in the NWFL.<\/p>\n

Adamawa Queens, Royal Queens and newcomers Naija Ratels are the only sides who are yet to gain a point in the league.<\/p>\n

The league is played in an abridged format with teams in Group A and Group B.<\/p>\n

Three teams from each group will play in the playoff to determine the winner of the league.<\/p>\n

The winner will participate in the CAF Champions League qualification phase.<\/p>\n

Delta Queens won the NWFL title last season after defeating Bayelsa Queens in the playoff final in Asaba.<\/p>\n
