Africa-Press – Nigeria. <\/strong><\/span>The Imo State Police Command says it has set up a high-powered investigating team to clamp down on the killers of the traditional ruler of Otulu Amumara, in Ezinihitte Mbaise Council Area of Imo State, Eze Joe-Benz Ochulor.<\/p>\n

Gunmen, yet to be identified, had on Saturday, kidnapped the monarch but his lifeless body was later discovered on Sunday.<\/p>\n

Reacting to the unfortunate incident, the Imo State Police Public Relations Officer, PORO, Henry Okoye told newsmen in Owerri on Monday that the Commissioner of Police, CP Aboki Danjuma had ordered that no stone be left unturned in ensuring that the perpetrators are apprehended.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe PPRO said, the CP vowed that the Command would leave no stone unturned in ensuring that the perpetrators of the heinous crime are arrested and made to face the full wrath of the law.<\/p>\n

\u201cAccordingly, the CP has set up a high-powered Investigating team and charged them to go all out and clamp down on the assailants.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe CP calls on the general public to remain calm and cooperate with the Police by providing useful information that may assist in the apprehension of the suspects.\u201d<\/p>\n
