{"id":102753,"date":"2023-12-01T15:51:33","date_gmt":"2023-12-01T14:51:33","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.africa-press.net\/nigeria\/uncategorized\/gov-uzodinma-has-shown-lack-of-leadership-capacity-in-last-three-years-adc"},"modified":"2023-12-01T18:03:09","modified_gmt":"2023-12-01T17:03:09","slug":"gov-uzodinma-has-shown-lack-of-leadership-capacity-in-last-three-years-adc","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.africa-press.net\/nigeria\/parties\/gov-uzodinma-has-shown-lack-of-leadership-capacity-in-last-three-years-adc","title":{"rendered":"Gov Uzodinma has shown lack of leadership capacity in last three years \u2013 ADC"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"color: #ff6600\"><strong>Africa-Press &#8211; Nigeria. <\/strong><\/span>The African Democractic Congress (ADC) has said Governor Hope Uzodinma has wasted three years and 10 months as governor of Imo State.<\/p>\n<p>It said the governor has failed to demonstrate capacity and also lacked indigenous support to effectively combat insecurity and restore sustainable peace in Imo.<\/p>\n<p>Chilos Godsent, the Southeast National Vice Chairman of the ADC, said these in a statement on Thursday following the recent cold murder of officers of the Nigeria Police Force at Ahiara Mbaise by unidentified gunmen on Monday.<\/p>\n<p>The leadership of the ADC admitted that although Uzodinma had demonstrated adequate political will in fighting banditry in the State since inception of his present administration, his strategies have been poor.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cGovernor Uzodinma\u2019s strategies are crude and brigandish and therefore may not yield the anticipated positive results.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s on record that since Senator Hope Uzodinma assumed office as the governor of imo state since January 2020, the economy of the state has constantly deteriorated.
