Africa-Press – Nigeria. <\/strong><\/span>The Nasarawa State Police Command has arrested Hassan Ismail and Mohammed Sani for allegedly killing their son over a witchcraft allegation.<\/p>\n

The acting Commissioner of Police in the state, Shettima Jauro Muhammed, made this known to journalists while parading the suspects on Monday.<\/p>\n

He said the arrest, which was effected on Thursday last week, followed credible information that the deceased, Mohammed Sani of Agyaragu Tofa, was tied and locked up in a room where he starved to death.<\/p>\n

He revealed that the family members hurriedly buried him to avoid suspicion.<\/p>\n

He said: \u201cBased on credible information that one Mohammed Sani of Agyaragu Tofa was tied on both hands and legs and locked up in a room where he starved to death and was hurriedly buried by his family members on the allegation of witchcraft, police operatives attached to A Division, Lafia, swung into action and got Hassan Ismail and Mohammed Sani arrested. Efforts are ongoing to arrest all individuals involved in the dastardly act.\u201d<\/p>\n
