Africa-Press – Nigeria. <\/strong><\/span>The National Chairman of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, Chief Edozie Njoku, has called on the Governor of Anambra State, Charles Soludo, to allow peace reign in the party.<\/p>\n

Njoku made the appeal following an Abuja High Court ruling that dismissed forgery allegations levelled against by the Nigeria Police Force, NPF, on Tuesday.<\/p>\n

Recall that the NPF had on November 22, 2022, charged Njoku and the Youth leader of the political party, Chukwuemeka Nwoga, to court for allegedly conspiring with others at large to alter a judgment of the Supreme Court delivered by Justice Mary Peter Odili (rtd).<\/p>\n

Njoku alleged that Soludo, instead of investing in rebuilding the party that gave him the platform to become the governor of Anambra State, has been wasting the state\u2019s funds in fighting him and bringing the party to its knees.<\/p>\n

He advised the governor to join the All Progressives Congress, APC, if he so wished and allow the core members of APGA to stay in the party in peace.<\/p>\n

Addressing reporters in Abuja, Njoku said, \u201cPolitical litigation is something we\u2019ll keep going through [in Nigeria].<\/p>\n

\u201cEverybody knows my case. It is not going to be perfect. It was from this court that I went and spent two days in the prison but since that day I keep saying that justice will come at last, especially when billionaires are involved.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere\u2019s a governor of the state who is using the state resources to unleash a war against me for what reason I don\u2019t know. Maybe he thinks I\u2019m not going to be a rubber-stamp who he will be controlling but he might be joking.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe might not be serious. All I\u2019m asking Charles Soludo to do is let us have peace in AGPA. If he wants to join APC that\u2019s not a problem but he should allow those who believe in AGPA to settle down. I\u2019m calling on Charles Soludo, let\u2019s end it now.\u201d<\/p>\n
