Africa-Press – Nigeria. <\/strong><\/span>Eshi Auta, a personal assistant to the Deputy Governor of Nasarawa State, Dr. Emmanuel Akabe, has escaped an attempted abduction.<\/p>\n

The kidnappers attacked Auta on Wednesday night as he made his way home in the Tudun Kauri area of Lafia.<\/p>\n

The assault left the deputy governor\u2019s aide with external injuries, prompting his immediate admission at the state-owned Dalhatu Araf Specialist Hospital (DASH) in Lafia for treatment.<\/p>\n

It was gathered that Auta\u2019s injuries were deemed non-life-threatening, and after receiving medical attention, he was discharged from the hospital.<\/p>\n

During the assault, Auta lost personal belongings, including his phone along with other valuables.<\/p>\n

The assailants are yet to be identified.<\/p>\n
