Africa-Press – Nigeria. <\/strong><\/span>Unknown gunmen suspected to be bandits on Saturday killed four farmers and kidnapped eight others from Nahuta village in Batsari Local Government Area of Katsina State.<\/p>\n

The State Police Public Relations Officer, ASP Abubakar Aliyu, confirmed the attack on Sunday in Katsina.<\/p>\n

Aliyu said the farmers were on the farms harvesting their crops when the assailants attacked them.<\/p>\n

According to him, one of the farmers that managed to escape received gunshot wounds.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe suspected bandits attacked the farmers, opened fire on them thereby killing four and injuring one; they also abducted eight others,\u2019\u2019 Aliyu said<\/p>\n
