Africa-Press – Nigeria. <\/strong><\/span>The National Chairman of Action Alliance Party, AAP, Dr Adekunle Rufai OmoAje, has urged Christians and Nigerians, in the spirit of the Christmas celebration, to uphold the principles of love, tolerance, and sacrifice to sustain harmony, progress and advance the cause of humanity.<\/p>\n

He stated this on Sunday in a Christmas message to Nigerians.<\/p>\n

The AAP chairman felicitated with the Christian faithful and Nigerians in general as they join the rest of the world in celebrating Christmas.<\/p>\n

He noted that the Christmas season represents joy, peace, hope, love and goodwill, adding that these qualities are needed in the country at this time as Nigerians are confronted with the diverse challenges of development.<\/p>\n

\u201cI celebrate with the Christian fold and enjoin all of us to remember the essence of Christmas.<\/p>\n

\u201cIn the true spirit of the season, let\u2019s show love to our neighbors, kindness to the less-privileged and vulnerable, and tolerance to one another across the lines of faith, politics, and ethnicity; in the spirit of the unique sacrifice and the teachings of our Lord, Jesus Christ,\u201d he stated.<\/p>\n

OmoAje urged all Nigerians to appropriate the hope that comes with Christmas and reinvest trust in God\u2019s ability to restore the lost glory of Nigeria.<\/p>\n

He equally admonished Nigerians to reflect on the lessons of the period and emulate Christ by fostering peace and unity in the country.<\/p>\n
