Africa-Press – Nigeria. <\/strong><\/span>Ondo Deputy Governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa has been sworn in as the State\u2019s substantive Executive Governor following Governor Rotimi Akeredolu\u2019s demise.<\/p>\n

State Chief Judge, Justice Olusegun Odosola administered the oath of office at the Cocoa Conference Hall of the Governor\u2019s office in Akure.<\/p>\n

Present to witness the swear-in ceremony are top Judges in the state, government officials and politicians.<\/p>\n

DAILY POST earlier reported that Aiyedatiwa had arrived at the Governor\u2019s office for his swearing-in-ceremony in Akure, Ondo State Capital.<\/p>\n

Recall that Akeredolu died at age 67 in Germany in the early hours of Wednesday after a protracted leukaemia.<\/p>\n

On December 12, the late Governor handed over power to Aiyedatiwa ahead of another period of medical leave.<\/p>\n
