Africa-Press – Nigeria. <\/strong><\/span>Governor of Ondo State, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, has stated that the name of his late boss, Oluwarotimi Akeredolu will forever be etched in the memories of the people.<\/p>\n

Aiyedatiwa emphasised that the enduring legacies and impacts made by the late Akeredolu are evident not only in the state but across the country.<\/p>\n

The governor had on Thursday led members of the State Executive Council on a condolence visit to the residence of the former Ondo State Governor in Ibadan, the capital of Oyo State.<\/p>\n

While paying tribute to his late predecessor, Aiyedatiwa described him as a sincere, courageous, selfless, and patriotic leader.<\/p>\n

He noted that the late Akeredolu had tirelessly fought for the welfare of his people, spearheaded developmental initiatives, and positively impacted numerous lives.<\/p>\n

According to him, Akeredolu was a caring and compassionate husband, father, and grandfather.<\/p>\n

He expressed gratitude for the rare privilege of having served under Governor Akeredolu\u2019s tutelage.<\/p>\n

Responding on behalf of the Akeredolu family, the younger brother of the deceased, Pastor Kola Akeredolu, thanked the delegation led by Governor Aiyedatiwa for the thoughtful visit.<\/p>\n
