Africa-Press – Nigeria. <\/strong><\/span>Senator Shehu Sani, a former federal lawmaker, has commended the Nigerian government for the payment of N12 billion outstanding allowances owed to the Super Eagles and other national teams.<\/p>\n

President Bola Tinubu on Sunday approved the payment of N12 billon outstanding backlog for Nigeria\u2019s National teams of various sports, including the Super Eagles.<\/p>\n

Reacting, Shehu Sani in a post on his official X handle, described the move as unprecedented.<\/p>\n

The former lawmaker charged Super Eagles players to be motivated by the gesture, saying they have no reason to disappoint the country.<\/p>\n

The post reads, \u201cThe payment of N12Billion Super Eagles outstanding debt by the FG is commendable. This is unprecedented.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Coach, the Players and the Management of the national team have NO reason to disappoint the country. The Super Eagles must bring home the Cup. @thenff\u201d.<\/p>\n
