Africa-Press – Nigeria. <\/strong><\/span>The Kano State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC, decorated 385 newly promoted officers with their ranks on Tuesday.<\/p>\n

Speaking at the event, the Kano State NSCDC commandant, Mohammed Lawal-Falala, urged the promoted officers to continue upholding the principles and core values of the NSCDC with courage, diligence and professionalism.<\/p>\n

\u201cI want to express my deepest congratulations. You have exhibited unparalleled courage, resilience and dedication in your roles. Your promotion is a reflection of your exceptional performance,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

He advised the officers of the command to seize every opportunity and professional skill to expand their knowledge of the evolving security challenges in society.<\/p>\n

\u201cTogether, we must remain vigilant, adaptable and forward-thinking in our approach to safeguarding the lives and property of the citizens we are sworn to protect,\u201d said Lawal-Falala, who commended Gov. Abba Yusuf and other security agencies for their support of the NSCDC in the state.<\/p>\n

The governor, who was represented by the Kano State Director-General of Special Duties, AVM Umar Ibrahim (retd), described the officers\u2019 promotion as a recognition of their achievements.<\/p>\n

\u201cAs you continue to safeguard and protect citizens, you should always remember that you are ambassadors of peace and justice; stay vigilant and loyal,\u201d the governor said.<\/p>\n
