Africa-Press – Nigeria. <\/strong><\/span>Bauchi State Governor, Bala Mohammed has said he didn\u2019t sleep for seven days as he was in Abuja fighting to prevent \u2018former leaders\u2019 of Bauchi from snatching his victory at the polls.<\/p>\n

Mohammed disclosed this in reaction to his victory at the Supreme Court.<\/p>\n

Mohammed praised President Bola Tinubu for not listening to former Bauchi leaders who had told the President that he was a threat to him.<\/p>\n

Mohammed disclosed this at the Government House in Bauchi during a victory rally organised for him.<\/p>\n

He also said the rule of law was allowed to prevail in his case.<\/p>\n

According to Mohammed: \u201cPeople of Bauchi have shown me love, you gave me trust and I will not sleep because I did not sleep for seven days and I made sure that we have this mandate back.<\/p>\n

\u201cSome people connived \u2013former leaders of Bauchi to go and perpetuate lies against me to make sure that the leadership of the nation see me as a problem but you can see the leaders have their ways of handling issues.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m grateful to the government of President Tinubu who believe in good governance \u2013allowing the rule of law to persist irrespective of the lies and mischievous acts that have been perpetrated against me.\u201d<\/p>\n
