Africa-Press – Nigeria. <\/strong><\/span>Guinea-Bissau head coach, Baciro Cande says his side will put up a good showing against Nigeria.<\/p>\n

The Djurtus have a slim chance of progressing to the group stage in the ongoing 2023 Africa Cup of Nations, AFCON, after losing their opening two games of the competition.<\/p>\n

Cande\u2019s side occupy bottom spot in Group A with zero point.<\/p>\n

Guinea-Bissau are also yet to win a game in the history of the AFCON.<\/p>\n

The gaffer said his players are highly motivated for the game and will go all out for a win.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are excited to play a good match tomorrow,\u201d he told reporters in Abidjan.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe have one match to close the first phase of the competition and we will do everything to have a good game tomorrow.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt will be difficult but we will do everything possible tomorrow. We want to have our first AFCON win tomorrow.\u201d<\/p>\n

The encounter, slated for the Felix Houphouet Boigny Stadium, Abidjan, will start at 6:00 pm Nigerian time.<\/p>\n
