Africa-Press – Nigeria. <\/strong><\/span>Nigeria finished the group stages of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations with a 1-0 win over Guinea-Bissau.<\/p>\n

Opa Sangante\u2019s own goal proved to be decisive for the Super Eagles.<\/p>\n

However, despite the victory, Jose Peseiro\u2019s men finished as runners-up behind Equatorial Guinea, who hammered hosts Ivory Coast 4-0.<\/p>\n

This means Nigeria will face the team that finishes in second place in Group C.<\/p>\n

Senegal currently top of Group C with six points, while Guinea are second with four points. Cameroon have one point and Gambia have lost all their fixtures so far.<\/p>\n

The last two games will see Senegal play Guinea and Cameroon take on Gambia.<\/p>\n

The Super Eagles\u2019 Round of 16 game will be played on Saturday, January 27 by 9pm WAT.<\/p>\n
