Africa-Press – Nigeria. <\/strong><\/span>A retired Kaduna principal, Mallam Abdulkadir, who was kidnapped by bandits in the Birnin Gwari Local Government Area of Kaduna State has regained freedom.<\/p>\n

The retired principal was abducted when he took ransom to the kidnappers who abducted some villagers.<\/p>\n

Human rights activist and former federal lawmaker Senator Shehu Sani announced this in a post on his official X handle.<\/p>\n

The former Senator disclosed that the retired principal was thoroughly beaten and lost his tooth for inability to pay the ransom on time.<\/p>\n

He said an undisclosed amount was paid as ransom to secure his release.<\/p>\n

He wrote: \u201cMallam Abdulkadir, the retired Kaduna principal who was held by kidnappers for delivering ransom has been released earlier today.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe was thoroughly beaten and lost his tooth for delayed payment.<\/p>\n

\u201cRansom was paid for his freedom.\u201d<\/p>\n
