Africa-Press – Nigeria. <\/strong><\/span>The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC, has impounded a truck carrying about 450 vandalised railway sleepers on Tuesday in Damaturu and arrested three suspects.<\/p>\n

NSCDC commandant in Yobe, Mr Adamu Zakari, paraded the truck and the suspects before newsmen on Wednesday in Damaturu.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe truck was loaded with 450 railway sleepers with an estimated street value of N5.9 million,\u2019\u2019 he said.<\/p>\n

Zakari assured that the suspects would be arraigned upon the completion of investigation.<\/p>\n

He urged members of the public to report any suspicious movement of persons or goods to the nearest security agency.<\/p>\n
