Chukwuma Oligbu stated that procedures for the export of products have been streamlined to reduce unnecessary regulatory barriers to non-oil exports.<\/p>\n<p>Oligbu noted that NAFDAC has strengthened regulatory systems and transparency by ensuring guidelines, regulations and tariffs are available on the agency\u2019s website.<\/p>\n<p>In a statement by the Public Relations Officer NAFDAC, SSZ, Port Harcourt, Cyril Monye, the symposium with the theme: \u201cTo go Global, there is Need for Certification,\u201d dwelt on the importance of mandatory and non-mandatory certifications required for non-oil export.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, Oligbu has called for the support of the Rivers State Police Command in enforcing the NAFDAC mandate.<\/p>\n<p>He made the call during a familiarization visit to the Commissioner of Police, Olatunji Disu, at the Force Headquarters in Port Harcourt.<\/p>\n<p>He noted, \u201cTo effectively carry out our mandate and regulatory activities, especially in riverine areas and other dangerous terrain, we need to synergize and collaborate with the police to achieve success.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>On his part, the Commissioner of Police, Disu expressed his gratitude for the visit and pledged his support and cooperation in assisting the agency to fight the crime of faking and counterfeiting of regulated products.<\/p>\n<p><strong>For More News And Analysis About <a href=\"https:\/\/www.africa-press.net\/nigeria\">Nigeria<\/a> Follow <a href=\"https:\/\/www.africa-press.net\/\">Africa-Press<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Africa-Press &#8211; Nigeria.
