Amina Divine Arong from Cross River State, as the party\u2019s new National Woman Leader.<\/p>\n<p>This was contained in a statement on Thursday signed by Debo Ologunagba, the National Publicity Secretary of the PDP.<\/p>\n<p>The statement read, \u201cThe Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has appointed a prominent Party women mobilizer, Hon. Amina Divine Arong from Cross River State, as the Party\u2019s new National Woman Leader.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe PDP congratulates and tasks the new National Woman Leader to deploy her capacity and experience in working with other members of the National Working Committee for the continuing stability, growth and success of our great Party\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>The post became vacant following the death of the former National Woman Leader, Prof. Stella Effah-Attoe, who died on Sunday, October 29, 2023.<\/p>\n<p>The party commended Arong for her commitment to the growth of the party, particularly her leading roles in the mobilization of several party women and youth groups at various levels as well as in the conduct of party primaries in several parts of the country.<\/p>\n<p><strong>For More News And Analysis About <a href=\"https:\/\/www.africa-press.net\/nigeria\">Nigeria<\/a> Follow <a href=\"https:\/\/www.africa-press.net\/\">Africa-Press<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Africa-Press &#8211; Nigeria.
