Africa-Press – Nigeria. <\/strong><\/span>The Lagos State Police Command has arrested the most wanted traffic robber, operating around the Ijora Badia area of the state.<\/p>\n

The command\u2019s Public Relations Officer, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, confirmed the arrest to newsmen on Thursday, saying that the police have been on his trail for the last six months.<\/p>\n

He said operatives of the Ijora Badia Division embarked on actionable intelligence gathering about the activities of the suspected 18-year-old Olawale Odunsi before his arrest.<\/p>\n

According to him, the suspect had allegedly been involved in many traffic robberies at Iganmu and Ijora under Bridge areas and environs.<\/p>\n

\u201cMany victims of the suspect described him as a deadly attacker with his dreadlocks.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe evaded arrest several times in the past. Fortunately, on Tuesday, at about 3:30pm., acting on intel gathered that the suspect and his terror gang members were about to operate at Iganmu under the bridge.<\/p>\n

\u201cOperatives from Ijora Badia Division were quickly mobilised to the scene and the suspect was arrested while coming out from his criminal hideout.<\/p>\n

\u201cHis gang members escaped from the scene. The suspect was taken to the station, where he confessed to the crime. Investigation is ongoing, \u201d he said.<\/p>\n
