Africa-Press – Nigeria. <\/strong><\/span>At least two persons were killed while a yet-to-be-identified woman was kidnapped by gunmen who attacked the Ikorodu area of Lagos State.<\/p>\n

The unfortunate incident occurred on Wednesday in the Alagemo community of Igbelaara, off Ijede road in Ikorodu when the attackers invaded the area.<\/p>\n

According to the police, no fewer than four members of a vigilante group were also injured during the incident.<\/p>\n

In a video clip making the rounds on social media, a male voice was heard raising the alarm about the incident in his area.<\/p>\n

\u201cKidnapping is happening right now in Igbe-Alagemo. What is all this? They have kidnapped two people. They are in the bush, they are the ones shooting,\u201d the voice said.<\/p>\n

The Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO Benjamin Hundeyin confirmed the incident on Thursday, saying \u201ctwo persons died, four others were injured, and one woman was kidnapped\u201d.<\/p>\n
