Africa-Press – Nigeria. <\/strong><\/span>Troops of Sector 2 Joint Task Force, North East Operation Hadin Kai, on Sunday, eliminated three ISWAP terrorists enforcing Zakkat levies on Maltari village, near Kukareta in Yobe State.<\/p>\n

The terrorists met their Waterloo during a gunfight with the troops after they received a report at about 4am on Sunday about terrorists\u2019 elements.<\/p>\n

It was learnt that the troops, in conjunction with Yobe State Hunters group, were tasked to conduct a special patrol in the area.<\/p>\n

They engaged and naturalized three terrorists.<\/p>\n

The troops also recovered two AK-47 rifles with two magazines containing 16 rounds of 7.62MM special ammunition, two hand grenades and one motorcycle.<\/p>\n

The neutralised terrorists were believed to be part of the group that attacked troops\u2019 location at Kukareta on Sunday, 4th February, 2024.<\/p>\n
