Africa-Press – Nigeria. <\/strong><\/span>The Katsina State Police Command in collaboration with the military, foiled a bandit attack and rescued 10 kidnapped victims along Kukar Babangida to Yan Gayya Feeder Road, Katsina State.<\/p>\n

The Command\u2019s Spokesperson, ASP Abubakar Sadiq Aliyu said the joint patrol team achieved the feat after a large number of suspected hoodlums, armed with AK-47s engaged them in a gun battle along Kukar Babangida to Yan Gayya Feeder Road, Katsina State.<\/p>\n

According to ASP Sadiq\u2019s statement, \u201cPromptly, the operationally competent patrol team returned fire and succeeded in foiling the attack and rescuing 10 kidnapped victims.\u201d<\/p>\n

The State\u2019s Commissioner of Police, CP Aliyu Abubakar Musa, commended the officers for their gallantry. He equally urged the good people of the State to continue to support the command, as well as other security agencies with timely information for swift and decisive action against all forms of crime and criminality in the state.<\/p>\n
