Africa-Press – Nigeria. <\/strong><\/span>The Katsina State Police Command have placed a N50 million bounty on suspected bandit kingpins, Modi Modi and Jan Kare.<\/p>\n

In a statement by the Command\u2019s Public Relations Officer, ASP Abubakar Aliyu, in Katsina, the police alleged that the duo were responsible for most of the terrorist attacks in the state.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Katsina State Police Command wishes to announce a reward of N50 million to any individual who provides valuable information that will lead to the arrest of two bandits\u2019 kingpins.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey are popularly known as Modi Modi and Jan Kare, all males, operating within Katsina State, particularly in the regions of Kankara and Safana Local Government Areas.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe safety and well-being of the residents are of paramount importance, hence, the state government and the police command\u2019s commitments in taking decisive actions against criminal elements that threaten the peace and stability of the inhabitants of the state,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

According to him, the identity of the informant and the information provided would be kept strictly confidential to ensure their safety and protection.<\/p>\n

\u201cAll concerned citizens are encouraged to come forward with any relevant information that could assist the security agencies in apprehending the masterminds behind these heinous crimes of kidnapping and banditry in the state,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n

He, therefore, urged anyone with useful information to contact the command headquarters or the nearest security agency\u2019s headquarters or call the following numbers 07015142112 08023871144.<\/p>\n
