Africa-Press – Nigeria. <\/strong><\/span>Operatives of the Osun State Police have started investigating the circumstances leading to the discovery of the headless body of a woman in Osogbo.<\/p>\n

A headless body of a woman was discovered opposite the Osogbo local government secretariat, Oke-Baale, Osogbo, on Tuesday.<\/p>\n

The command\u2019s spokesperson, Yemisi Opalola, confirming the presence of the corpse, stated that relevant authorities have been contacted to evacuate the body.<\/p>\n

Opalola further stated that the operatives have begun an investigation into the incident to unravel the mystery surrounding how the body came to be in the spot where it was found.<\/p>\n

\u201cConcerning the dead body of a headless and armless woman that was found opposite Osogbo LG secretariat, Oke Baale, I want to inform you that the police are aware.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe necessary authority has been contacted for the immediate evacuation of the corpse, while discreet investigation is ongoing,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n
