Africa-Press – Nigeria. <\/strong><\/span>A tragedy occurred in Ningi Local Government Area of Bauchi State as 15-year-old Adamu Isa, the son of a retired police officer, was reportedly fatally stabbed by his friend, Abubakar Isa.<\/p>\n

The incident was said to have occurred on March 27 following a heated argument between the friends.<\/p>\n

The latest incident is coming barely two days after a 16-year-old boy stabbed a 25-year-old man to death in another town of Bauchi State.<\/p>\n

The suspect reportedly stabbed the deceased in the neck close to the throat with a knife, leading to his immediate death, even before getting to the hospital.<\/p>\n

However, details are still sketchy as to what led to the fight.<\/p>\n

The spokesman of the Bauchi State Police Command, SP Ahmed Wakili, who confirmed the incident on Friday told DAILY POST that on the said day, the Ningi Police Division received a distress call from a retired DSP Kasuwa Isa, who resides behind the INEC office in Ningi.<\/p>\n

According to Wakil, Isa reported that his son, Adamu Isa, 15, was stabbed with a knife on his neck by Abubakar Isah, also 15, who lives behind the NEPA office in Ningi.<\/p>\n

\u201cOn receiving the complaint, the DPO of Ningi Division led a team of detectives to the scene of the incident and evacuated the victim to the General Hospital in Ningi, where he was certified dead by a medical doctor,\u201d he stated.<\/p>\n

Wakil added that the suspect, Abubakar Isa, has been arrested and is in police custody pending an investigation into the issue.<\/p>\n
