Africa-Press – Nigeria. <\/strong><\/span>Personnel attached to the Isheri-Osun Police Division have arrested an alleged fake Sergeant Major, RSM, who was fully clad in military camouflage.<\/p>\n

The police nabbed the suspect, Femi Balogun around 3pm on Saturday at Ijegun, a riverine community notorious for pipeline vandalism and haven for vicious criminals.<\/p>\n

It was gathered that the suspect, alleged to have been on the wanted list of the Nigerian Army, was arrested by operatives on visibility patrol along Fagbile Estate in Ijegun.<\/p>\n

The Police spokesman, SP Benjamin Hundeyin confirmed the suspect\u2019s arrest.<\/p>\n

According to him, the military had been contacted and Balogun was confirmed to be a fake soldier upon interrogation.<\/p>\n

Hundeyin further stated that the suspect would be charged to court at the conclusion of investigation.<\/p>\n
