Africa-Press – Nigeria. <\/strong><\/span>The Kaduna State Police Command has arrested a motorcycle thief after the father of the suspect reported to the police.<\/p>\n

The Command\u2019s spokesman, ASP Mansir Hassan, confirmed the arrest to newsmen on Monday in Kaduna.<\/p>\n

Hassan said, \u201cOn March 29, we received information from the father of the suspect that he saw his son, Sani Nafiu, with a motorcycle suspected to have been stolen, that the motorcycle was stolen from Abuja.\u201d<\/p>\n

He explained that on receipt of the information, police operatives arrested the suspect of Tijjani Kaya quarters in Giwa Local Government Area.<\/p>\n

He disclosed that the investigation revealed that the suspect stabbed the victim, Mr Shamsu Jamilu of Danja, aged 28, at Kuje Area Council of Federal Capital Territory.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe suspect collected the motorcycle of the victim lying unconscious.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe suspect Nafiu has been arrested and the motorcycle recovered,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

Hassan said an investigation was ongoing and after completion, he would be charged to court for prosecution.<\/p>\n
