{"id":116177,"date":"2024-04-17T21:11:35","date_gmt":"2024-04-17T20:11:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.africa-press.net\/nigeria\/uncategorized\/it-will-not-be-enforced-apc-rejects-court-order-that-affirmed-gandujes-suspension"},"modified":"2024-04-17T23:26:00","modified_gmt":"2024-04-17T22:26:00","slug":"it-will-not-be-enforced-apc-rejects-court-order-that-affirmed-gandujes-suspension","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.africa-press.net\/nigeria\/parties\/it-will-not-be-enforced-apc-rejects-court-order-that-affirmed-gandujes-suspension","title":{"rendered":"\u2018It will not be enforced\u2019 \u2013 APC rejects court order that affirmed Ganduje\u2019s suspension"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"color: #ff6600\"><strong>Africa-Press &#8211; Nigeria. <\/strong><\/span>The National Working Committee, NWC, of the All Progressives Congress, APC, has described the court order that affirmed the suspension of the party\u2019s national chairman, Abdullahi Ganduje, as unlawful.<\/p>\n<p>A Kano State High Court on Wednesday affirmed the suspension of Ganduje following an ex parte order restraining him from further parading himself as a member of APC.<\/p>\n<p>The order was granted by Justice Usman Na\u2019abba following an ex parte motion filed by Haladu Gwanjo and Laminu Sani.<\/p>\n<p>However, addressing a press conference at the APC Abuja National Secretariat on Wednesday, the National Legal Adviser of the party, Professor Abdulkarim Kana insisted that the court order was a nullity.<\/p>\n<p>The press conference followed a courtesy visit to the national chairman by the Ganduje Ward and Local Government exco.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019re also hearing this afternoon that they used the same document to go to court to obtain an order of the court.
