Africa-Press – Nigeria. <\/strong><\/span>A pioneer Chairman of the New Nigeria Peoples Party, NNPP, in Kano Malam Hisham Habib has disputed the remarks of the National Chairman of the Party, Dr Boniface Aniebonum that Kwankwaso and his Kwankwasiyya group betrayed him.<\/p>\n

Hisham, rather asserted that the entry of the National Leader and also Presidential Candidate of the Party in 2023 Dr Rabiu Kwankwaso uplifted the party more in its entire years of existence.<\/p>\n

The former Kano State chairman of the party said as a member and a witness of the party\u2019s activities before and after Kwankwaso entered the party with his supporters, the statements credited to the party\u2019s founder were without decorum and contentment.<\/p>\n

He said the party was at its lowest ebb and the leadership had not been able to resuscitate the weak structures, especially, in the states stressing that the founder, Dr Boniface Aniebonam and his loyalists should be grateful to God for routing Kwankwaso into a party which cannot sponsor delegates to a convention talk less of winning at the polls.<\/p>\n

\u201cKwankwaso\u2019s entrance brought NNPP the first major victory that was spectacular and unimaginable, we won the governorship with the highest number in the country, no other governor scored a million votes is a milestone and a feat, moreover the Party\u2019s presence at the national assembly was unprecedented,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

He urged the Board of Trustee Chairman to display the better part of maturity expected of a statesman and ignore the evil machinations of the saboteurs who are scared of the successes recorded by the party and the prospect it has in the near future while also emphasizing that Kwankwaso has been consistent in his dealings with people who supported him which earned him respect globally and nationally.<\/p>\n

The ex-Chairman said Nigerians from all walks of life trooped into the party because of the former Defence minister and the majority of members nationwide see Kwankwaso as the leader which naturally puts him in front considering his antecedents in the political landscape.<\/p>\n
