{"id":117188,"date":"2024-04-27T14:40:17","date_gmt":"2024-04-27T13:40:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.africa-press.net\/nigeria\/uncategorized\/naira-depreciation-bdc-operators-reveal-solution"},"modified":"2024-04-28T00:02:41","modified_gmt":"2024-04-27T23:02:41","slug":"naira-depreciation-bdc-operators-reveal-solution","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.africa-press.net\/nigeria\/economy\/naira-depreciation-bdc-operators-reveal-solution","title":{"rendered":"Naira depreciation: BDC operators reveal solution"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"color: #ff6600\"><strong>Africa-Press &#8211; Nigeria. <\/strong><\/span>The Association of Bureaux De Change Operators of Nigeria has revealed plans for a unified retail end of the foreign currency market to tackle the recent Naira depreciation.<\/p>\n<p>ABCON president, Aminu Gwadabe disclosed this on Friday, noting that the move would tackle volatility and boost regulatory compliance within that market segment.<\/p>\n<p>According to him, ABCON is implementing plans meant to unify operators from different cadres of the market, including the inauguration of state chapters for market coordination, integration, and administering a united market structure.<\/p>\n<p>He revealed plans to upgrade ABCON\u2019s Business Process Platform, formerly called SAAZ Master.<\/p>\n<p>He said, \u201cPart of our vision for a united retail-end forex market includes activating geo-mapping and automated BDCs physical office verification exercise using the Remote Gravity Physical verification apps.
