Africa-Press – Nigeria. <\/strong><\/span>Ondo State Police Command has launched an investigation to unravel the circumstances surrounding the unfortunate killing of a ward coordinator of Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa\u2019s campaign organization, Mr Alaba Abe.<\/p>\n

Abe, popularly known as Excel, was gunned down on Saturday night by suspected assassins.<\/p>\n

The deceased was among the governor\u2019s campaign coordinators during last Saturday\u2019s All Progressives Congress, APC, governorship primary in Ondo State.<\/p>\n

Abe was also the Returning Officer for the party\u2019s primary election at Ward 10 in the council area.<\/p>\n

When contacted Ondo State Police Public Relations Officer, Funmilayo Odunlami confirmed the incident, saying investigation has commenced.<\/p>\n

She said, \u201cYes, it is true. The command has commenced an investigation to unravel all that happened.\u201d<\/p>\n
