Africa-Press – Nigeria. <\/strong><\/span>The 2023 People Democratic Party, PDP, candidate for Dekina\/Bassa Federal House of Representatives, Usman Okai, has said attempt by the immediate Kogi State governor, Yahaya Bello to bribe a judge have been exposed.<\/p>\n

Okai was reacting to the leaked WhatsApp chat group chat involving the state\u2019s Commissioner for Information, Kingsley Fanwo and others.<\/p>\n

Charging Fanwo to be silent, the PDP chieftain said the commissioner is involved in all the evils afflicting the confluence state.<\/p>\n

In a statement he issued, Okai said the leaked group chat \u201cwas an act of God,\u201d stressing that instead of defending it, Fanwo should offer an apology for planning to buy justice with dollars.<\/p>\n

The statement reads partly: \u201cThe commissioner, who couldn\u2019t win his own party\u2019s primary for the federal House of Representatives, is part of Kogi state\u2019s problem.<\/p>\n

\u201cFanwo was brought from Vanguard as a media assistant to Capt. Wada\u2019s Deputy, Yemi Awoniyi.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe was a young boy who was supposed to understand the reality on the ground. Unfortunately, the Evangelist, who is supposed to represent truth, is now planning to bribe judges with dollars.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s unfortunate that the commissioner\u2019s denial is expected because he was exposed by those he trusted. They are the same people who want liberation for the people of Kogi state.<\/p>\n

\u201cFanwo has vehemently denied that Kogi state\u2019s money was missing, but the truth on the ground has proven that he lies more than necessary. This is because Wanted Yahaya Bello promised him that if a Governor must come from Kogi West, Kingsley Fanwo is the anointed one.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are not surprised; Fanwo sees himself as a Governor from the Okun tribe in waiting, ready to deny even his own family to please Yahaya Bello and Ododo.<\/p>\n

\u201cUnfortunately for Kingsley, he has yet to learn from Edward Onoja, Okala, Hon. Kolawole, and others like Asuku, that Bello once promised heaven and earth but failed them.\u201d<\/p>\n

Okai said the self-proclaimed Evangelist, who is not even born again, needs to understand that \u2018Everyday is for the thief, one day is for the owner.\u2019<\/p>\n

\u201cToday, his former principal, who looted the state carelessly, is facing God\u2019s judgment while on earth.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe attempt to bribe judges ahead of the tribunal ruling has already been exposed, and necessary complaints have been made to the relevant security apparatus and judiciary regulatory agents.\u201d<\/p>\n
